The Data Center is playing an ever important role in k-12 environments as we rely on technology to bring a more full, complete, and time saving experience to students, parents, teachers, and staff. No longer is it acceptable to have critical data on a server under the secretary’s desk that isn’t cooled, backed up, or fed power appropriately. Cisco will illustrate how to build a cost effective data center that is greener in every way to how we built data centers in as little as two years ago. Virtualization is a key factor in networks, storage, servers, and desktops that will help realize and achieve this goal.
